Transfer / Share minutes between phone numbers?

We have 3 net10 phone numbers in our house. I have one son that does not use his phone much and has over 1200 minutes on it, and another son that is in college and uses his minutes up before the due date. Is there any way to transfer some of the 1200 minutes over to the other phone?

The problem with Net10 is that there is NO way to get days of service without minutes.

That should be covered in Net10's "Terms and Conditions"!

When you do a transfer, you have to transfer all the minutes and all the days. The phone number is optional. The minutes and days will stack onto the receiving phone.

So could you transfer all the minutes/days from Phone A onto Phone B, and then immediately put new minutes/days on Phone A to keep it active?

Yes, but a deactivated phone runs the risk of losing its phone number. So you might want to do this during the day when you can call cs for assistance.

To transfer to an active phone you must use CS.
No one has commented on how Trac looks at a lot of transfering between phones just to adjust the minutes on them. They could look at it as extra work and less airtime sold.

    True.

On the other hand, all business must constantly do things that don't directly make them money but keep their customers happy. Sure, TracFone doesn't get any money when they transfer minutes from one phone to another, but they also have to consider whether that customer is going to buy more TracFone minutes when the current one expires or if they'll just switch over to a different provider because they were unhappy with TracFone's service.

Tracfone doesn't care about any of that stuff. You as a trac customer are expendable.

Maybe Page Plus isn't quite on their radar yet. It's just as well.
