You would need to get the pop and smtp server names from whoever controls the email server.

.edu has got nothing to do with it. What do you use to check your e-mail? Outlook? Outlook Web Access? A non-outlook web-based site? Did they give you POP3/IMAP credentials to put into an e-mail client? We need a whole lot more information than ".edu email".

I check my email by going to the windows live log in web site or I would get it on my blackberry without issue.

I don't use outlook or any of that.

I had a good bit of trouble setting up my username.si.edu account. I finally got it, but I cant remember exactly what I did. But I do remember...I picked

exchange account, then when it asked for domain/username I took out the slash and just had my user name only no domain. Then for "server" I put the web address I use to access the account when I am not at work, because at work I dont go thru the internet. I just open my email, but at home I have to access it via internet. Dont know if this helps at all, but hope so.
