I did exactly as you said and nothing did anything! Other than what it was suppose to normally do!

press the menu botton...highlite settings dont press anything again until upress AND HOLD DOWN the * button. while pressing the * button PRESS OK...do the same with the other menus !!!!!!.thats as simple as i can put it.

Is there any way to block the internet using these codes? ST says not possible, but there HAS to be a way!

frustratedmom, I effectively did just what you want by doing the following:

Left-click until you see the Browser menu; hit * button; enter 4-digit code, usually last four digits of your phone number; go to Common Settings; click OK; hit OK again to select first option, Home URL; then delete the URL that's there.

***Please note, if you really want to be helpful to me, write down the URL before you delete it and post it here so I can get my internet back.*** Another potential use of writing it down is if you'd like to reactivate internet on your phone. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I tried the tfdevice.com and it didn't work. I really don't remember it being my phone number either since I do remember some letters in the URL. Do you think the Home URL is specific to the individual phone?

OK...i think ive got i.!!! Ur home url should be http://TFdevice.home thats what mine says..i hope u remember how 2get that menu.!!!!

the follow info may help people...i open my browsers hidden menu clicked on common settings and this is what it say...1 homeurl..http://TFdevice.home 2.Uaprofileurl...http://Uaprof1.caohosting.com/UAprofsamsung_R451_TF_V"01.xml 3..useragent..r451 and that it,let meno if this info gets u back on the internet.!!!

does ur r451c have a samsung or tracfone logo? usaid ur h/w is r451.09 my cell was built in 2008 maybe that why ur having problems...heck i dont no..!!!

I'm thinking that straight talk has a lock of some sort on the hidden menus. or they possbily changed the key combination, or even simply removed them. who knows....

Thanks rchow. I checked all these settings and they match yours. Either I changed something else (although everything looks right) or they've locked me out because I found my way into the hidden menus. I might call customer support, but don't think India can help much.

Hey, I just got this but the annoying thing about it is when he gets a text he can't hear it because with the escalating ringtone only the first two tones go off. With these hidden menus is there a way to turn off the escalation?

this is my r451c...... S/W r451.CH12 PRL 59182 ERI none BROWSER 6.2.3.8. H/W R451.08 and 1other thing i think is important mine has samsung logo.!!

Hi, I have the slide phone and bought the PNY Micro SD card w/ adapter, formatted it and put music on it, but when I put it back into the phone, it doesn't work. It goes to library but under artists, albums, and genres it says "0" even though there is music on it. Are there certain brands of cards that work better? Any and all suggestions welcome, please. try 2 format the card in the phone 1st then download....

That's correct, It must be formated by the phone to work correctly. Also something I noticed on mine....If you go to Settings/Memory Info/Card Memory/My Music, It shows "No MP3". But when you activate the player(by holding down the Camera/MP3 button) It all shows up in the various Libraries. If anyone else has different results than this, please post reply.
