Get messages off phone with broken screen.

I have a Motorola VE240 phone which I dropped and the screen is now cracked. I'm getting a new phone but I have been getting quite a few messages and really want to be able to read them. Is there any way I could get them onto my computer?

I can't see the screen. It's all cracked and messed up. Will bitpim work with my phone?

I really recommend using QPST over BITPIM.

Get your ESN, and use the MSL calculator in excel for MetroPCS

Then connect it via QPST configuration, find the port and load it up. Type in your MSL

then go to NVM/SMS. And there'd be all your SMS's in plain text.

I did everything but when I start up QPST Configuration and I go to ports I only see COM1 and COM2. 1 Says no phone. 2 says State: Waiting and for phone and link it says N/A

you have to manually add the com port if qpst doesnt recognize it.
