Got it at BestBuy on 11-7 so I can still return it - should I?

If you actually use your phone, unlike me, I would say 4-5 days is pretty normal for a Shuttle. I leave mines idle and it'll drop by a notch after about 6 days.

No, I use it very little - turn on in am and off at midnight - maybe 1-2 calls/week.

Sounding like I should return it?

4-5 days is a reasonable time for a phone to run without a charge and it is a runtime that compares favorably with other VMUSA handsets. IMO, returning a phone for this reason is selfish and costs both the company and the retailer money to dispose of your perfectly good phone. If you want a longer-life battery, buy a third-party replacement with a higher amp-hour rating.

    Thanks for your time.

I just called VM and they agree with the posted specs that standby time is 13+ days. I'm getting about 32 HOURS.
