i am a metropcs dealer so i don't pay to do that, i can add esn's to metropcs server.
did you get the nai settings to stick? through proxy? what did you do? if you can explain how you got evdo to stick then maybe i can help with mms.Originally Posted by san20176
i use cdmaworkshop and qxdm.
for dealers: To flashed the droid to metropcs all you need is
HW VSP3 - Virtual Serial Port
and houdinisoft, select the virtual com port you set up and select Mot W835 model and proceed.
Any specific version of cdma WS and qxdm or does it matter? I have both programs but I'm not clear on how to use qxdm, can you provide some tips. Thanks.
Use the trial version no need to pay for that. qxdm is a pain in the *** you have to give commands to it.
still no way to get the droid on sprint?
this would actually be in line with a lot of what i'm hearing; that sprint has really bad and or really strict and terse service and is impossible to cancel service with (they'll just keep sending you bills)
get what you pay for i guess.
MICROWAVES ARE GOOD FOR YOU
Just to ask the question again.. Does this actually make the NAI settings stick? or does it use a proxy? After you provisioned it with Houdini what do the QPST M.IP settings show?Originally Posted by san20176
Found the QXDM Pro video tutorial; very good information on how to use QXDM Pro: http://www.qctconnect.com/support/qxdm/1_START_HERE.htm
I assume that you use the NV Browser to mod the Droid but I haven't confirmed it. I'll check it out later when I'm not so tired.
Tried that... you will see the settings in the NV browser but they still didn't stick for me when I edited them. Maybe your luck will be differentOriginally Posted by XSYLUS
Hell, I even found the settings in various SEEMS and the changes wouldn't stick.
Anyone know EXACTLY what port 11000 is for? I'm getting mixed results when I search.
Is it possible that the nai settings are stuck in a sqlite table somewhere on the phone? I know the HTC Hero keeps its MMS settings in a sqlite table and you have to manually update them if you want to switch carriers.
