    you had me at hello....lol

    first things first you need to download motorola driver installer located here : http://www.motorola.com/consumers/v/...008806b00aRCRD

    install that then download HW VSP serial Port from here : http://www.hw-group.com/products/hw_vsp/index_en.html

    choose HW VSP singleport install that then download CDMAWORHSOP located here :
    http://www.cdma-ware.com/workshop.html

    install that then follow the tutorial of the beginning of this thread.

    If that is the case that might fix my problem but i'm not sure how that can be used to help the others with their problems. I just don't want to brick my phone, thats all i'm worried about.
    Yes that's exactly what I did and it worked.

    I wrote the settings on to the phone, but do I have to configure anything else through the ##program settings?

    Thanks.

    I've made the necessary changes in Qpst build 323 and wrote them to the phone without reading first, my settings still don't stick.

    Am I missing something?? Thanks all for your help.

    what would be really cool

    Is if someone that made these ppp settings stick could honor us by making a camtasia presentation showing us exactly what to do to make settings stick.

    http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp

    Camtasia will let you make a record session of everything on your screen until you turn it off.

    Then just upload the presentation somewhere where we can download it. We can watch you do it the way it should be done.

    Well anyway thanks!

    All SPC codes for Motorola are six (6) zeros. Try connecting to cdma workshop and reading the information from your phone, I believe it should say there your "changed SPC".

    Hi guys, so I was using QPST 2.7 323 and I got this message when I was trying to change the PP AN and Um user. --> "The phone has stopped responding to memory read/write commands." Anybody know what I should do?

    What did you do? I found that the information of the mms in stored in a file called apns-conf.xml inside /system/ and /system/etc

    it contains this:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

    <apns version="6">
    <apn carrier="metropcs"
    mcc="310"
    mnc="00"
    apn="internet"
    user="4077157508@mymetropcs.com"
    server="http://mms.metropcs.net:3128/mmsc"
    password="metropcs"
    mmsc="http://mms.metropcs.net/servlets/mmsc"
    />
    </apns>

    We are still waiting on a detailed tutorial. Currently we just have vague information about using cdma workshop and qxdm. Perhaps instead of posting a tutorial, a list of used commands for qxdm could be posted. Then everyone could start testing and we would have a final solution much sooner.

    1.) we know that we need to use cdma workshop to initially write the evdo settings without reading them from the phone first and without restarting the phone right away.

    2.) qxdm plays a major role in getting the settings to stick but there's no information on what commands need to be passed to the phone with qxdm, so that piece of the puzzle is currently missing...

    As i know, a custom baseband C.01.50.CHE was made by chinese recently, but they do not sell the baseband.If u want EVDO setting sticking or ESN modification the only way is to buy a flashed Droid from them, some guys have proved that.

    If u guys can read chinese, here's the Droid forum in China:
