Plus. its a premium phone not a smart phone. So in theory it isn't really advertised to do the same thing as a computer. I like the mobile email on the tritan for my gmail. Maybe try it again.

I just did the Facebook thing on an HTC Touch, as well as my Tritan. Both times, I had to relogin. I did not log out before navigating away from FB. As 2 people above (including myself) have verified, this is not a Tritan issue. It's a FB issue. Something similar may be at work with your gmail.Originally Posted by Ourider

I'm well aware it's a premium phone. But gmail worked just fine when I first got the phone. And then I had the exact same issue on every site. Why would it work at first and then stop for every site? It seems like a stretch to say all the sites I go to have a problem. I use gmail every single day, and have to log in every time. Besides, this phone is ADVERTISED to have full html internet support, and so I do feel this phone should be able to do something so basic and fundamental. Am I wrong?Originally Posted by tearsonurcheek
I believe this issue goes both ways. Maybe some websites have problems, but I believe the tritan has some, too.
In a funny twist, somebody in tech support must have seen my post. Because the very next day, I accessed gmail and my user name was suddenly there. I did nothing different. I did have to put my password in, and ever since my gmail boots up with me logged in. So I'm glad I vented, because it looks like somebody was actually out there reading it who was able to do something about it .
Whoever it was, I give them my thanks.
So now I'm going to test some other sites and see if anything happens.
These are some of the other sites I have had this same issue with:
youtube
howard forums...this forum!
the sci-fi channel forums
nbc sports
any video site
Just to name a few.
I am racking my brain and have an awful headache. If I am in sounds, and I want to silence sound alerts for, I don't know, the picture message. When I select the message alerts, and select picture message, the options I have are another alert, not a “no alert” option
. Can anyone help a fool like me?

Maybe record a voice note in a silent room and set that as the ringtone?
Scratch that, my gmail password stopped working, and then worked today. It just does it when it wants to.
But it is quite strange that it suddenly worked the day after I made my post. Keep in mind it has not worked since the end of October, not one single time and I use it almost daily.
I"ve searched to see if this has been addressed and couldn't find anything. For about the last 2 weeks my mobile email, your navigator and contacts back-up don't work. When I try it shows "unknown error (18694). I've called USCC and they tell me it's an LG problem and could be 5 more weeks till it's fixed! That's crazy....anyone else experiencing this?
Thanks.
NO. I think you need a RE flash. Is your software up to date. Settings, phone info
If I were gonna bet I would say that there will be a fix for this asap... But its gonna take some time from what I have heard from different people as this could be a more widespread issue and its gonna take some time to correct it.. Wish could help out more but thats all the info I have on it at the moment.. I know a few people who are having the same issue with M.C.B. and there is nothing that can be done at the moment.. And it does not matter if you have the latest version software on your phone or not.. And a reflash is not going to fix it either..

Does anyone know if there is a way to split messages on the Tritan like on similar carriers? My boss was able to send me a two piece message off his Tritan.
No. The 160-character limit for text messaging is hard-coded in the software for the Tritan. Now, if you send from a computer, or another phone that allows you to enter more than 160, the network will auto-split the incoming message to your phone.Originally Posted by BodomSlayer
