I think the tritan is cool. if it was not for that internet plan and my limited budget i would have it already. Does it have the same thing the rhythm has where you can listen to music and text at the same time? Because i love that with my rhythm. I think this phone would not have this but i am not sure. Does the Tritan have an FM Transmitter or a 3.5 headset port?

    Hi all,

I've had my Tritan a few months now and still have questions!

    2. Also on the browser, can I delete the feeds bookmark? I don't even know how to use it. I'm very computer savvy, but apparently, phone dumb! lol

Thanks! Hey, have a great holiday!! Happy phoning/texting!
I can answer the feed question:
When in your browser, just select feeds, and pick the green icon on the side of the feed, and an option to erase the feed will be there. But you can't delete the whole button for feeds if that is what your talking about.

Feeds are quite handy on mobile, especially news headline feeds. But not all feeds work on the Tritan's browser like they do on a pc. You just have to experiment sometimes. But usually, if a site has a button for RSS feed, just clicking it will create the feed in your bookmarks. Bookmark feeds have their own header, so they don't clog up all your other bookmarks.
For example, I like google news. On any term that I use the news for, google has a RSS button at the bottom, just click it and it's saved. Then when you go to feeds, the feed for what you chose will show up, it will ask you to update the if you pick it.
You can even get <some> video feed sites to work. I forget which one it was, and at least for me, they even used the Tritan video player instead of loading on the page. The quality was still meh, but at least kind of watchable.

    Hello all!
I just got the LG Tritan as well on Black Friday
One question....Can you post a picture on Facebook through the phone itself rather than taking the card out and inserting it into your home computer?

Edit: oops I think I found the answer..

If I email it to the special email, do I have to pay a fee for sending a picture message?

lol, just noticed my rank "My mom bought me this phone" I guess that's one way of calling me a newbie. I got through the US cellular promotion on Black Friday. I have been eying the phone for over 2 mths, looking for a better deal, and jumped on it at the right time! Free!

When you plug it in, you should see a pop-up on your phone's screen - choose "Mass Storage Mode".

Correct, the option will not even come up unless you have the card installed. Otherwise the pc will attempt to install the phone as a modem, in which it will fail because the drivers will not be there.
They should not have done that, with 256 mb of built in memory, it's totally possible for people to take plenty of pics that would like to transfer.

If I only had any idea USCC would have some kind of deal like this 2 months ago

After 2 months, I have adjusted well to this phone. It's not perfect, but I've been able to get around the quirks. I have it set up so I can get most of the info or dial the numbers I use with just a click or 2. And using the little stick to help navigate was one of the biggest reasons I got the phone to begin with.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but How do I change my 1x to 3G? I have USCC and they said that I am in a 3G network coverage.

update your PRL by dialing *228.
Should do the trick if you are in a EVDO area.
MOTOROLA Still #1 in reception and call clarity.

It did the trick, Thanks! It now says EV, Which is 3G right? Sorry for my ignorance...I am new to this 3G stuff and have no clue when it comes to this.
