That's only because they need to scan the barcode to enable the phone to be activated, that's all it is. The one I bought has all the barcodes, except for the general UPC code covered up.

Okay. Thanks, Sweeper. Will you let us know about any worthwhile particulars concerning about this mobile?
It's a bare bones phone with a monchrome outer display and VGA camera. Nothing really too exciting about it except for the $15 price tag (you also get $10 if you activate it on VZ Prepay, making it, in essence, a $5 phone).

I saw a CDM7075 at a Rite Aid on Friday. It was 49.99! Wonder what the difference is? Maybe a color variation. I am glad that it is a UT Starcom. I always liked the Arc on VM. Maybe this is a newer version of the Arc?
No Page Plus, H20 or any other Verizon mvno. Sorry. A bunch of greedy dealers and distributors screwed it up for everyone last year by telling new dealers to activate Verizon prepaid phones instead of Page Plus because their then 39.95 unlimited plan was so hot that they had no other source of cheap , new compatible phones. Until Verizon dropped the ban hammer.
Straight Talk Verizon type phones will work on other mvnos though. At least for talk/text.
