    MaxMarti, Post #3 of the Equinox debranding thread has a full unedited copy of the customize.xml. Change the appropriate tags bachviet posted above and drop it into your customize.xml file in the same location as it was in the original file.

    is it a matter of simply cutting and pasting the network settings for the 3G icon? I dont have this section on the customize.xml I uploaded to the TM717. When I cut and paste, I notice that it is not aligned as the rest of the command lines. Dont want to mess up. your thoughts?

    It doesn't matter but you can always fix it.

    Just put the following in between the dcom sections and the flash-desktop sections:

    <network>
    <settings reg-path="/apps/network">
    <hide-hsdpa-icon>true</hide-hsdpa-icon>
    <hide-3g-icon>false</hide-3g-icon>
    </settings>
    </network>

    That should accomplish what you want. Aligning the indentation of the formatting isn't important although you can do it if you want.
