My brother in-law was told this in a T-Mobile store.
Is this true? or is he being taken for a ride?
(they said since he has super good credit, he can get this unpublished plan...)

Scam, is it a corporate store or authorized seller?

If it's too good to be true, it probably is.
$10 per month for each line with unlimited use just because you have good credit? Nope... not a chance in heck that's happening. T-Mobile is a business and at that price point they won't be making money. I'm thinking they can approve you for 10 lines but the price is wrong.
That is definitely a scam. I wouldn't do it.
It's also possible the rep just explained it poorly and meant to say "You can get unlimited talk/text on two lines for $100/month and are approved for 10 lines."
3G where I go with AT&T > GPRS where I go with T-Mobile and "4G" where I don't.
I'm your typical 21 year old gay guy, or as we prefer to be called "Family-wrecking AIDS-mongers" waging what I call "The Homo-Jihad" against Sprint. That's what they get for destroying Nextel.
Or, how about like most people they only hear what they want to hear instead of everything in it's entirety. Most likely this is not a scam, I believe he/she was approved for the $100 plan (remember tmo will give you the price for lines 1 & 2) the even more for families unlimited is 99.99, and he/she was approved for 10 lines. Lines 3-5 are $40 each.
Lines 6-10 would be on a separate account with the same pricing 1 & 2 for 99.99, lines 3-5 $40 each.
I am inclined to believe this is what happened. Sorry, but your brother-in-law must have asked the confirmation question the wrong way a dozen times. I can't imagine in 100 years he'll get 10 unlimited SIM cards for $100 per month when I pay nearly that for 2 lines and on a loyalty plan.Originally Posted by justin.tyler

my brother in-law went in to a CORP store, and they told him that, and I made him confirm with them a dozen times, that his total bill will be $100+ taxes for all 10 lines, which I found to be impossible, and yet the rep kept repeating the same thing over and over.Originally Posted by newguy78

He could've asked 100x, there's not a $100 10 line unlimited plan. If you want to continue to say yes he signed up with that plan, post a screenshot.Originally Posted by mendel
I've gotta see this too. Sign up and let us see My.T-Mobile!Originally Posted by corys00

he signed up, and at the end they said he can only have 5 lines for that price...
(I'm waiting to see the bill as well)
BTW what is t-mobile's return/cancellation policy?
14 days, except in California where it's 30 days.Originally Posted by mendel
