I would like to see PP increase the data to 250-500MB without increasing the price. I wouldn't be enough to stream youtube or pandora all the time but it would be more than enough to be able to check email and browse the internet on a daily basis.

I was wondering if the 50MB of data that come with the 1200/1200 plan is enough. For me, I'm a fairly heavy user, and I don't go through all of it in a month. If it's not enough, how much would you say you use/would need? (Aside from unlimited)
Just curious what you're thoughts are.

I'd also like to clarify that by "heavy user", I mean within the boundaries of mobile surfing. Email, sports and weather updates, various notifications and some videos now and then. I do this because I know I'm on a leash as far as usage goes, and I'm not thrilled about watching videos on my phone screen, even though it's decent. If the amount went up without a price hike, I foresee me making better usage of mobile surfing. However, it there was a higher data option for more, I do not see me switching to that, as I almost always can put off a video or any data heavy activity until I get to a computer/or my laptop.(which is almost always nearby anyways)
I'm a talk/text user with minimal web time. I prefer my full sized keyboard, laptop and cable speed broadband to a phone that tries to do same.
It really depends on the phone. If you have a smartphone or a phone that has the ability for a full HTML browser you can burn through 50mb very, very fast.
I have an LG enV and I use about 30-40mb of data.
I have a blackberry and 50mb is enough for me. If i had more, i might do online videos more, but i wouldn't pay any more for more data.
I can easily go through three times that amount just for email and Exchange synchronization.
If you lived in this signature, you'd be home by now.
Its not enough for me as my school requires us to check our email (via outlook web access) at least once every 2 hours. I'm hoping for either an increase in data, or a cheaper plan without any data I could move to, and use another cheap data phone.
Would like more on the unlimited plan even if it cost a little extra, and allow BB use (not BIS/BES) but just internet... (like Boost)
Home ISP, RR-Ultimate WiFi, $90/mo | Verizon 4G, $30/mo Unlimited
School, $5,000/semester | Work
you can activate a blackberry on PP now without BIS/BES...Originally Posted by Extraordinary

50MB isn't bad for my needs, but a little more would be nice.
I can use 50mb in under two weeks just syncing and checking my POP. Throw the Facebook app in the mix and you can kiss that 50mb goodbye in a under a week. Thankfully I have wifi so I hook up to that whenever possible
