Oops... I mean 'i was sent a video mms'.

The pre plays video messages just fine. Recording is available to but as a very basic homebrew app.

I'm trying to figure out how to save a video that was sent to me through MMS

If you are talking about precorder you have to set the video recording format to mms in the PreCorder preferences.

Every video you record via PreCorder saves in your videos app in your launcher..

I my self has never tried sending a video from precorder via mms but I assume it works given that there is a recording option called "mms"

No... I am NOT talking about Precorder.

I am asking how do I save a video that was SENT to me via MMS. I can tap the video, watch it, but can not figure out how to save it.

I'm NOT recording anything, I am NOT sending anything. I want to know how do I save one that was sent to me.

I just touch the video (not the play button but around it) and it gives me an option to save to "copy attached to sd card"
