I have never claimed to have an interaction # to remove the msg or to do anything for that matter. I have always maintained that an interaction number is exactly what it appears to be, it is a number that is used to reference a specific interaction with CS about a specific fone (by s/n).

I was hoping that rhondap would attempt to use the interaction # you claim will remove the message. AND then report the results.
No I did not attempt to use the posted interaction number. When I called about my phone the interaction number I recieved was different than the one posted here and when I called about my daughters phone today that interaction number was different from both.

Thank you for the update and verifying what most users here had known to be true. Interaction #'s are specific to the issue and fone at hand.

To anyone who has had the time remaining message removed from a Straight Talk phone. After the message feature is removed from the outbound calls are you still able to verify the remaining time balance from the Straight Talk website? I hate the message but still want a way to check my balance.

Please let us know how this works for you. Thanks!
You must be too busy getting your diapers changed to fully read any of my posts.... as I clearly stated that it might not work but it was worth a try. And the ONLY thing I'm confused about is why your babysitter lets you use the computer.

I received a different interaction number for my phone earlier this week, so I am assuming the numbers are specific to the phone, and had the message removed.

I called the corporate number first earlier this morning and that office is closed until Monday both the Net10 and ST customer service numbers had people answering.
Thank you for clearing that up. And I'm happy to see you were able to take care if it. I know how happy I was to get rid of that message.

This was exactly my experience. Call the center - first rep says no way. Ask for the manager - says they will say the same thing. The manager ends up being extremely helpful and gets rid of the message.

My experience with straight talk has been excellent (except the customer service challenges) but it has been worth the tradeoff for the lower monthly cost.

I just called them @ 877-430-2355 and in less than 5 mins the CSR rep disable this 4 me.

Thanks everyone, I was wondering if this could be done or not.

There have been times when the system is down or overloaded and the Info not readily available but here is a link:

Out of the blue I recieved a text message from Staight Talk, saying they are removing the pre call anouncement.

    Anyone else get it?

Hm I wonder if they can stop that annoying message I get on the screen when I get and send txts. It takes forever to get and send texts - first i have to unlock the phone, then look at the texts used, then finally see the message.

Holly79, you might try to replay with STOP and send. I have read this will stop the text reminders. Know it works on all other text notifications.
    Good luck!!

It's not actually a text they are sending me, it's just a little window that pops up on the screen and says "1 message received. XXX messages remaining". It pops up when you open a new text and when you send one. It's a bit redundant, since I can go to the prepaid menu at any time and find out how many i have left.

I also despise that message... along with the data usage message that comes up when using the browser.

I just activated a 900G today and those messages are super annoying.
