Droid AUTO-Rotate PROBLEM!

Ok so i updated my droid to the new firmware, and now when i try to type in landscape it doesnt work...i mean it doesnt rotate at all browser, messaging etc unless i slide out the keyboard. so i went into the seetings and clicked orientation on and tried it again and it didnt work...so i go back to setting and i find the orientation is unchecked...so i turn orientation on and go to the homescreen and go back to settings and oritentaion is unchecked! so after i leave the seetings it automatically unchecks orientation. Now i cant type in lanscape or view the browser in landscape! help, i really don't feel like going to verizon for this issue
