you can add Reuters to the web portal under news. Videos seem to not stream, but download fine across the proxy but not the opera browser, where you can't seem to download most of anything
All capn Smokey wasn't working in Southern Cal on Sunday afternoon![]()
Confirmed capn Smokey stopped working in Texas (both DFW and Houston). But changing APN to wap.voicestream.com (from epc.tmobile.com) fixed it. Good luck.
I bought an unlocked O2 Razor (AT&T MVNO, see other forum more info) yesterday and been using my Tmobile SIM along with CS site and Opera Mini 3 using wap.voicestream.com. I got a text message from Tmobile to update my settings which I accepted and saw it created a new profile with epc.tmobile.com which as posted above, I can longer access CS site. I switched back to wap.voicestream.com and its working again. I left the profile that Tmo sent me on the phone, just as inactive. Hope they don't bother it anymore since its there.

Update: Monday - Changed apn setting to wap.voicestream.com and works for now!
it stopped working in bayarea as well. changing to wap.voicestream.com works.
Wow, do you see a pattern developing here? I just got a new Nokia 5230, and when I first tried to do some browsing, it didn't work. I then examined the APN settings, noticed it was set to "epc.xxx...", changed it to "wap.xxx..." and all was good. Funny thing, previously on other phones I could switch between the two with no discernable difference.
Does it appear that T-Mobile is actively sending people "settings updates" on a widespread basis? Hopefully the working APN won't fall off the map and disappear.
Can anyone tell me where on a nokia 2727 or 2760 one can check and change the APN settings, or whether it's possible on these models?
It seems like a lot of people have found out how to fix their issues with accessing my portal, and even made a post about it on this thread. However, i'll repeat this info again. If you have trouble to access my portal, change your APN setting to "wap.voicestream.com" without the quote marks and it should be able to work. My portal seems to be blocked on epc.tmobile.com.
My APN setting on my Nokia 2720 was internet2.voicestream.com Changed it to wap.xxxx.xxxx but there was no change. I still can't access the captain or -- horror of horrors -- my Yahoo mail. I have to use mobile e-mail, which charges text-messaging rates for every e-mail read or sent. Sob.
i got my personal proxy to work by changing to voicestream.

My habit with most of the links from CS6's site was to save them as Bookmarks in my phone, which worked and was one less step to take in the browsing experience, once it was all set up.
Today I'm seeing a situation where, when I go to the regular, non-secure portal list on his site (without problem), and click on some of the links, I'm getting redirected to the "Subscription Required..." page at T-Zones. However, the same links I've saved on my phone do not get redirected. That's a little strange.
