    I tried om for wm6.

Same problem. poping up "download file".

The problem starts when I try to use Opera (OM51-mod) to enter captsmokey New Portal. When I klick on "Enter Portal", a window (menu?) pops up reding "Download File", main.htm, documents, Save, Cancel.
When I klick Cancel, nothing happens. When I klick Save, it dowloads the file "main_13.htm" and gives me options to "Open" or "Dismiss".
Again, if I select "Dismiss", nothing happens, but when I select "Open" it opens IE and and displays the file "main_13.htm" located in My Documents (which looks like CS portals menu). Than, when I select any of the available portal menu options, (for example Howard Forums) it opens the website through "tmobile-CS6.captsmokey.com/xxx" proxy in IE explorer. I can continue to browse with IE without problems.
Opera, though, does not seem to have a problem with accesing the Old Portal, or the YesWAP. However, it has the same problems with some options in YesWAP portal.
Does anybody else have this problem?
Or, is this something specific with my phone or setup? I use unbranded chinese IP clone with WM 6.1 OS and IP UI.
I would like to use Opera if possible. It is much nicer and seems to be much faster too, than IE.
    Can someone help me? Please?

I'm using Samsung Vibrant Android phone.

T-mobile blocked my access to tmobile.captsmokey.com/m

    but I can access m.yahoo.com.captsmokey.com

I just tried om 5.1 mod for Android,

    My APN setting is wap.voicestream.com

The om 5.1 mod doesn't work for my Android phone.

How can I replace a file which relates and points to " m.yahoo.com.captsmokey.com " ? ( I did the samething for wm6, and works).

I didn't find the solution for Android, as well as iPhone.

    Thanks a lot

Yahoo messenger (m.yahoo.com) isn't working for me anymore. Everything else in Yahoo mobile seems to work. Bummer because I just started using it to send free SMS.

Edit: Mail isn't either. The only things working are search, finance, local, movies, news, social pulse (you have to sign in with a day pass or other internet source, and you can add your accounts through your computer on m.yahoo.com), and sports. I'm using a Palm Centro with blazer, and the wap.voicestream.com APN. I'm on the payg plan.

This is old news. Please check the last two pages or so of this thread. The login page to any of the Yahoo sub-sites has been blocked, and you won't be able to access those items using the straight phone browser. Such is life, thus far.

Anybody have any update on this problem? I don't believe it is from Tmobile, as otherwise it would seem like it would give the "Buy a Day Pass" screen everybody else has been getting recently. Help would be appreciated.

I knew that. I checked the url in the upsell page's url, and it was the url for the yahoo login page. I had logged in through a reverse tether on my computer, and it seems that I got logged out. I'll have to log in again through my computer. I thought it was being blocked completely by T-Mobile.

    Opera Mobile!

Opera Mobile is supposed to be released for Android within the next couple of weeks. Any idea as to whether modding this app to use the proxy similar to OM 5.1 will be possible? My guess is no given that Opera Mobile doesn't use Opera's proxy servers... Anybody know?

@stiz: I did some research on Wikipedia, and i found this, it's an Opera Mini vs Opera Mobile comparison table. According to this table, Opera Mobile uses a direct internet connection, and Opera Mini goes through a proxy. If that's the case, it won't be worth modding this app, so it looks like we're all stuck with opera mini.

@everyone with yahoo mail issues: i'm having the same problem. i'm unable to access my yahoo mail anymore without going through my proxy.

I'm not able to get in with the proxy (or without) even after signing in via wifi. I think TMO is sniffing my old G1 android phone and refusing to play. Major lose for me, especially since I can't seem to get the $1.50/day thing, either.

I cannot even get to a page to buy a day pass or see my account on my iPhone 3G. Have the network settings been changed as well?
    Any ideas?

Has anybody had success using the Opera Mod on the DASH 3G? I can connect to Smokey's site using Internet Explorer, but I get connection errors when using any of the Opera Mods.

My APN is set to voicestream.

There are 2 permissions that I can give in the Java Menu: Auto Invocation and Share RMS. I have set both to Allow.

    Any other suggestions?
