Text wrapping makes the text fit the screen width so that there's no need to scroll horizontally. I can see the "GO" button with it either turned On or Off on my older revision 2720, but on the newer revision 2720 my sister has, it has to be turned on for her to be able see it.

When it starts you will be asked for a custom http-server. I created my own alias for global-4-lvs-usa.opera-mini.net (or 64.255.180.253) to be sure nobody could change the alias without me knowing it. But one of the Opera4 mods uses tmobile.dnsalias.com which also points to the same IP-address.

If you trust that alias, you should use this as your custom http-server:
    http://tmobile.dnsalias.com:80/

As an alternative you can create your own alias at dyndns.com. As long as your alias has the string tmobile in it, it should work as custom http-server.
I came across a version of Opera Mini 5 Final (non-beta) at the following link:

    http://43b627f2.realfiles.net/

Be sure to remove the ".zip" from the end of the filename since this is just the jar file. Enter http://tmobile.dnsalias.com:80 at the start and it will work.

I'm a noob at installing apps on my Nokia 6263, so please bear with me.

I've downloaded the .jar file recommended by Jan-E to my computer (not phone). BTW, the site hosting the file Utopium recommends is not "liked" by my McAfee, so I'm skipping that version for now.

So how do I install it to my phone? I know I can get the file to my phone via USB (I do a bit of music file transferring), but is there a preferred folder it should go in, and when it's there, how does one "execute" it?

When this is all accomplished, I'll deal with the alias URL.

is there a different download link? the link you provided was nothing but a nightmare. popups everywhere, download doesn't start when i enter the code. instead, it reloads the web page, making me reenter a code, then it made my CPU shoot up to 100%.

I originally came across it in this link:

    http://www.symbianize.com/showthread.php?p=2781380

But I had trouble registering with the forum so I tried searching elsewhere which is how I came across the link earlier. Doesn't seem to be distributed much online yet as it is less than a couple weeks old. Hopefully you will have better luck getting it from there though.

network connection failed on opera mini

Is the tmobile mod opera mini working for anyone?

I'm trying it on my Samsung Blackjack, and I keep getting network connction failure error. I tried all the different opera servers listed on this thread but nothing seems to work.
I tried to look for network permission settings, but just can't seem to find such a setting on my WM6 phone.

    Does anyone have any suggetions?
    Thanks.

Just curious, how are you able to offer BBC News and Yahoo when they are not offered thru t-zones?

@laorulez: Simple. BBC and Yahoo are 2 of the hidden websites tmobile allows access to. It's hidden from the main tzones page, but it's accessible anyway. I found a link to BBC somewhere online and i discovered yahoo on my own and found alternative links to yahoo online.

@bobdole888: It's working fine for me, i'm using the 4.0 version.

@utopium: I can't download from that link either, registration page is partly in philipino.

To everybody: I managed to get some free time, but very short. So i'll be working on an update to the website, i'll post when it's ready. Hopefully, i can have the update ready before i have to get back to work again.

Update almost complete, and i released part of it. The rest will be completed hopefully shortly. it's very late and i need some rest. Here's what i did:

Created a new web page. This web page is for people who have tethered their tmobile prepaid phones to their computer. if any of you would like to check it out, go to http://tmobile.captsmokey.com . NOTE: I just created the website, and it may take a litte while for the DNS to update itself, it should be online by morning in my time zone (Arizona).

    To do:

Move the mobile web page to the URL above
Make my mobile web page more tidy, it's still a mess.
    Other stuff

I'll post here when the rest of the updates are complete.

    Q on Super Bluetooth Hack

I had a question about Super Bluetooth Hack. In order to establish a Bluetooth connection, don't you have to agree to allow it? In other words, if you are going to try to connect to someone else's phone, it will ask them whether they want to connect? Tx...

Hopefully nobody. Bluetooth security works and that's a good thing. Hacking into other people's phones to steal their information, read their texts and make calls on their dime is evil be glad it doesn't work.
