What is the current working proxy address for the latest version of Opera Mini for the iPhone? Can I still change to it in the app's prereksio.ini file?

Also, this is not the first or last time that Port 80 has mysteriously opened for freeloading Paygo users.

As far as I know, editing prereksio.ini does not work anymore. You'll have to go into the binary with a hex editor and change the server.

I actually didn't modify the Android app, so I wouldn't be able to give you a tutorial. Sorry about that.

I'd assume it's a mistake. Also, any connection other than port 80 is blocked (meaning anything other than regular, non-encrypted web browsing is blocked).

I'm getting normal browsing via the Nokia browser on Nuron: CNN, Google, Wikipedia, YouTube plays movies. Gmail did not get through, so maybe it's indeed port 30.
The FaceBook app offered to log me in, but I don't have an account and clicking the Register link got me the upsell page.
The YouTube app did not connect.

I actually prefer Opera for almost everything, so the only consequence would be YouTube.

I was thinking of getting a Samsung Focus unlocked Windows phone (mango). Is there a way to get opera mini or something else to work on this phone? Earlier posts suggested win phones likely won't work, but I wanted to check. I realize I'd be limited to Edge speeds.

There's no way to get Opera Mini on a Focus, but you can get it on first generation HTC WP7 devices (i.e. HD7(S) and Surround) if you install a custom ROM. It's not the modded Opera Mini, but you could PM the developer on XDA and ask if he'd mod the server for you.

i was just looking at the sources for opera 6.5 mini and made big changes in file structure from 6.1 and might take awhile to find the place to modify.
While I was looking through the modified 6.1 opera mini android version I noticed that opera has an official server address that works with tmobile.

Strange thing I've noticed lately, is that web data on the wap.voicestream.com apn is working on my iPhone, Palm Pre Plus, and several feature phones without any mods whatsoever.

I saw google maps app working on my windows mobile phone without mods either and maps.google.com is not blocked either but if i go to google.com or google.com/voice I get the upsell page. Can you go on google.com?

I've been using prepaid with HD2 for a year with no problem. The modified OM works just great for me and there are a few apps from market works as well. However, I bought a HTC sensation 4G from cl today and I can't set it up to access internet like I used to. Is it possible to use 4G phone like HD2?
