Ok I believe you but.....
I just spoke to TMO tech support who said they support 900 and that you can use that for 3G..thats what they said, I dont know if that is true.

Most T-mobile CSR does not know what they are talking about!
Even T-mobile does NOT have license of spectrum - band 900.

I work for tmo, and I can vouch for that, unless it's a streamline policy, most CSRs don't know what they are talking about, especially anything technical.
Yep the CSR was totally wrong. 3G spectrum operates on what's called a matched pair. One frequency is for download and one is for upload. Here in the US T-Mo has 2100 for download and 1700 for upload, as opposed to the 2100 and 1900 frequencies which the unlocked version on Newegg uses. AT&T owns the 1900 frequency here which is why T-Mo was forced to take 1700 for their other frequency and have incompatible phones.
This is going to be a fun device to have. Wonder how well cain for Windows Mobile will work powered with the snapdragon. Just wish it had bluetooth class 1 for 100 meter range for some long range a2dp bluetooth bugs.
Looks like the HTC HD2 is getting a little spec bump on its way to our fair shores: the official spec page lists the version bound for T-Mobile US with 1GB of ROM and 576 of RAM, a boost over the international edition's 512 and 448MB. What's more, it looks like a bigger 16GB microSD card will come in the box, a big jump over the 2GB stick currently bundled overseas.

It is a beautiful phone with a crappy battery.
However , 576 MB of RAM is HTC's big lying!
It is 512 MB RAM, HTC adds the system (user not accessible) 64 Mb cache as they did before they advertised 256Mb RAM as 288 Mb
It is a beautiful phone with a crappy battery. Third party already makes extended battery now!

That's going to drive the cost of this phone up even more. But on the plus side, it makes me think that there's a better chance that it might get a WM7 upgrade.

it is can be hacked to add WM 7 for sure; even when HTC does not offer the upgrade.
Never trust what a CSR says. They're often the last to know anything.
If you're getting an HD2, I'll assume I will not be able to get WM7 on it in any possible way. If an upgrade is available (and if it's worth getting), then that's a bonus.
