    Yes.

And while looking at the tmo site tonight, I found something interesting:
    http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones/...-phone=HTC-HD2

A data service is required in order to access this phone’s Web functionality and features, including Internet access and e-mail.

    Data service: Even More plans
There is a required data service for this phone: Unlimited Web.

We’ll add the Unlimited Web option to your cart automatically when you choose an Even More plan.

Data service: Even More Plus plans
For Even More Plus plans, please choose a Talk + Text + Web option. Your data service is bundled into the plan.
It looks like for EMP plans, you MUST choose a talk + text + web option, instead of getting talk + web. That means an extra $5 per month for texting. Might be a bargain for some folks, but it's a feature some folks will never use. Hopefully the stores won't force people to sign up for that plan.

This appears to be standard now for all of their smartphones & EMP (I just tried pricing a Dash 3G and a TP2 and saw the same requirement; and the website didn't give me any other options).

That is assuming they don't inplement IMEI checking like they do with tmobile branded android phones (G1, Cliq, MT3G etc) and pull your tzone or web2go after a few days. They haven't done it with the Windows Mobile phones however, so I got my fingers crossed......

RightHere, I went to that page this morning and it had $269 and $449 prices listed, and you could add it to the cart! Like an idiot I went to the upgrade page to see if I could get better pricing on my current account and when it didn't even show up as an upgrade option I went back to the original page and it said "Coming soon". Blah.

Got mine as well at 9 EST, was there as they opened but no line, however a few more buyers came in after me to buy it as well. Night and day from my previous phone.

I bought one - if I can deal with the soft keyboard (the jury is out on that) I'm keeping it..... first impressions are very positive.

It took me too long to wait in corp store, I finally quit after 30 mins because I had to rush to school.
I can wait for a few more weeks though.
A side note: T-Mobile version is unable to run HSPL this time as the version is incompatible.
