Touch Pro 2, keeps displaying low memory message??

For about 2 weeks now, my TP2 displays low memory. I've checked everything. Theres nothing stored on my phone, everthing is stored to the memory card. I keep both the Opera and Internet Explorer browser cache cleared.

Yet I still recieve this message. I've called tech support, only to be told twice that it's a known issue with memory problems and the system won't let them exchange it. I've done soft and hard resets. The problem occurs again, within a couple of days.

Has anyone else phone been malfunctioning, like this?

    With my myTouch Slide 4G

I can't believe they won't exchange it if they are telling you that it's a known problem.

You can try memmaid, I think they give you a 15 day trial, maybe that will work.

TP2 has very little memory usable.
    it is very horrible!
fresh (build) boot-up only 52M memory available to use.
    compare Pharos 137 has 120M+,
Not mention HTC lies TP2 comes with 288MB RAM , actually it only has 256MB (or less) user accessible RAM!

since you're not new to WinMo, could be one of your new programs acting up in the background. here's 2 recommendations:

    1. install wkTASK, this program shows you "most" of the active programs, like the bottom taskbar in winXP. I have it in all my winmo phones, it allows quick program switching/closing. I said "most", since it will not show your open GPS program, which can be taking up 100mb in the background. Just remember that all gps programs can only be shut down from their own menu, or else they'll stay in your memory silently waiting for the warm-start.

wkTask is a free donationware, i.e. if you like it, u can donate to its developer.

    2. Uncheck TouchFlo3D from the Today home setting. if you can go a week without it, and your problem does not come back, there's your problem. again, if you can go a week without touchflo, you'll never miss it.

I don't encounter similar problem with my TP2, get 78MB upon starting up.
TouchFLO3D/SenseUI should be one of the reasons causing problem (it uses good amount of resources).
You can disable TouchFLO3D or SenseUI on Today Settings

I am thinking about ROM corruption; unfortunately, there's NO official T-Mobile ROM download from HTC. Your phone needs to be re-flashed.

what programs are you all running? After a soft reset I have 110mb free on the program side and 198mb on the storage side..... Then again 99% of my downloaded programs are on my storage card...

I easily had 95mb of free ram on the stock rom, your phone's memory must be brokeded
LTE has arrived. The third carrier in Las Vegas with 10x10 LTE coverage

Coverage will expand to 100 million LTE pops for the first half of 2013, with the second half of 2013 expanding to 200 million POPs covered. Release 10 LTE (2×10, 2×20) will be better performing than all other competitors.
T-Mobile USA. “This year, we’re stepping on the gas again. We are making continued coverage improvements and launching an advanced LTE network

    Update:

Tonight, I went to check my memory. Now it shows,

    Total 285.57
    In use: 93.95
    Free: 191.62

Just earlier, it showed much less. The thing is, I've used the phone as I normally do. This is strange.

I will download the above mentioned apps to free up more memory. If this occurs again.

Once again, thanks for the replies!
