EasyEdge is not installed yet LG UX830

When I got this phone from my friend I did a master reset ##786# before I put my info on it, just so all his contacts/settings weren't on there anymore. I'm Pretty sure EasyEdge worked when he was using to phone, so I'm thinking that the master reset del's the easyedge app? is there anyway to install it back on the phone?
I have done a *228 PRL update thinking that might work and got nothing, I looked threw all the programming menus under Mode 0 then spc and didnt see anything about installing easyedge...
Do I have to take it in and have them put easyedge back on? is there a way I could put it back on via usb?

Try performing in this order:

Restore Phone
Reset Default
Then a *22801 option 1 and then try connecting with your browser after it reboots. And also paying attention if the browser says connecting and/or sending....
