There are also some corp/government plans with Rogers that have per-second-billing; our company has it. I think they call the feature "exact billing" but don't quote me. I agree, per-minute billing is a rip.

Has anyone received per second (after the first minute) in the last few months?
I wanted another corporate line and was told (by the President's Office, also) that there are no current (available now) per-second plans. True or false?
I can't really say whether what they’re telling you is true or false but I can assure you that our corp plan with Rogers has per-second billing. I don't see the bill as it's fully paid by the employer but I've been told by our communications department that it's definitely billed per-second; not sure though if it's per-second after the first minute or from the get go. And unfortunately, I have no access to this plan for my personal line. I had the MSD code for the plan a while ago but I have no idea what I did with it.

I think that Rogers' billing by the second exists only on grandfathered corporate plans that already had it as well as grandfathered consumer plans that had it and didn't make any changes.

When Rogers AT&T (or should we even call it Cantel) was promoting their Digital plans (most people were on Analog), their big push was that by switching to a Digital phone, you would get complimentary billing by the second (after the first minute) and Caller ID. Slowly, they took away these basic necessities, while increasing prices.
I still have 1 very old grandfathered plan from retention which doesn't give me many minutes (just 20), but it is billed by the sec and includes caller ID for $15 less $5 and no SAF.
The above plans include the following features
Call Display / Name Display
Basic Voice Mail
Unlimited Incoming SMS
Company Calling
Call Waiting
3-way calling
Call forwarding Per second Billing (after the first minute) Waived Activation Fee
