Getting my caller ID name to show up

I'm kind of a phone newb...

I see no reference to this on the ST website - how do I get my name to show up on others' call ID? I've a Samsung R451C if that helps.

There's nothing ST can/will do to make that happen. Same with trac and n10.

you have to add the area code to all your numbers in your contact list..

same thing happened to me when i first got my r451c, then finally came up with trying to put area codes in all my numbers.

I think to get your name to come up on those phones being called by you they must have your name and number on "their" contact list.

This is correct.... and it's the only way it'll work. If they don't have you in their contact list only your number will show up on a cell's caller ID, and your number, city & state will show up on a landline ID.

Also in some areas a landline caller ID will display "cellular call" rather than the city and state.
