Don't get me wrong. I wasn't disagreeing with what you had said, and I knew you weren't talking about that. But I just wanted to chime in with how voice search could be used to better the GPS, just like your searching method would.

Anyway, so much for the rumored 2.1 update on 1/22. Wonder when it'll happen...(Same for Flash...)

    Official Droid 2.1 update

Am I the only one who feels hog tied and anally raped by motorola by them not giving up the 2.1 goodness?

So much for the so called insiders.. At this point I have to stop and laugh at them and label them for what they are. Nothing more than clowns recycling other forum rumors.

    Thanks Clowns!

I've been laughing this entire time. I knew people were passing rumors, and I knew that there were fools out there taking it as gospel.

Its been entertaining, to say the least.

But not surprising, there were many issues with the jan 22 rumor as time went on. It was clear it would be a longer wait, but don't fret, it will be out "soon"

Am I the only Eris owner that thinks Moto owners are rather whiny and should be happy that they have 2.0?

All I want is for DROID/Android to support BT voice commands and BT Serial port for external BT GPS...I know why would I want that we have GPS, but I have my reasons. that said I could live without that, but they REALLY NEED TO FIX THE BT VOICE COMMANDS issue. That bugs me to no end. x_X

    Yeah That Worked Well...NOT!!!

And AFAIK, these are the first VZW Bluetooth phones that don't support BT voice dialing. Is there another?
Even the original Moto V710 supported BT dialing.

I want the HID profile too. I still can't believe I can't use my ThinkOutside BT keyboard on this and I can use it on all my dumb phones.

No other ones that I know of, just assumed it was an android deficiency on the BT dialing/commands thing..if its a Moto thing..>FAIL!!!!

yeah, I have a BT keyboard and other BT serial (HID) devices I would like to use and cant because of lack of support for it in the BT Stack.
