The more I hear about this phone the more I pray it doesn't get delayed ... I would LOVE to get my hands on this phone in June.

Thanks to Winston25 and bill23 for all the info on "things you've heard"

And thanks to FuzzyPumpkins for the new pictures ... Can't wait for more leaked pics.

Bill32: does Motorola plan on selling the GSM-variant device unlocked (HSPA with NAM3G) in their American Motorola store? (http://store.motorola.com)

    That would totally rock.

but i'm not sure if that information are really true! i hope that u can understand me! ;D
do u know something if this phon have the front camera??
Lol don't worry, everyone is psyched about this device in particular. I think Eldar might have it already since he mentioned that some of the devices that he got were from Motorola , so maybe some more leaks might get out. Other than that I think we have most of the info, unless everything changes by the end lol.
I don't think this device has a front facing camera. That would be the Droid 2 if I'm not mistaken, since it *might* launch with Verizon's LTE. As you can see, some of us take precious time to accurately decipher Bill's and Winston's "messages" lol

As for the OMAP3630 vs OMAP3640 question, why do you care? Honestly any difference is a perception and not reality. The GPU makes a much bigger difference in your usage, and both use the same GPU.
(yep, I ain't saying which one is in there )
Lol, Bill's final words in every message

I don't care which one it uses lol, as long as the GPU inside is worth it . Isn't the OMAP SoC better than Snapdragon overall? Man, so close to saying what was the GPU . I'm guessing an SGX540? or 550?

Wikipedia says the 3630 and 3640 have the same 530 as in the Droid, but I guess that could change (and its Wikipedia...lol)

Lol, don't go based on that, or anything as a matter of fact. The GPU is always changed according to the manufacturer, take a look at the iPhone 3GS. It uses the OMAP 3430, but has the SGX535, therefore we can kinda speculate that the OMAP36xx uses the SGX535 or higher

i really hope that this phone will have the front camera!

however, i don't understant if the recording video will be at 720p or the better 1080p!
for the processor that u are speaking about, what are the biggest differences??

I think that has been stated for over 10 pages, hasn't it . People just don't want to read at all nowadays.
    Droid 2 anyone

The iPhone 3GS doesn't use the 3430, or any OMAP for that matter. It uses a custom Samsung chip thats Cortex A8 and runs at 600MHz (it's designed for 833MHz but Apple clocked it down to improve battery life).

Think about it now. Up to this point the US has not sold any phone with a front-facing camera. Now why do you think so? Take a look at what the iPhone did to AT&T's network, it brought it to its knees with so much data traffic. Now, could you imagine adding even more data traffic with video calling? This is a foreshadowing. Phone makers are waiting until LTE launches so that they can add front-facing cameras (Droid 2 anyone ). LTE will be using data only in the beginning, which will use CDMA to make calls, thus letting video conferencing/calls rely on the LTE network..

The Shadow will record up to 720p. However, it will OUTPUT 1080p through the HDMI port. Which means that you can store (hopefully) a Blu-ray movie in the Shadow, plug your Shadow to a TV (High res hopefully) via the HDMI port, and watch the movie on your 1080p movie on your TV.

It's not processor, but GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). The processor is what helps the device run "commands/orders" and can even do some small graphic rendering. However, the GPU is what really makes a difference. It helps the processor out by doing the graphics stuff and letting the processor do the "commands/orders" which makes the "processing" time faster. The two work together to output a faster and better experience, ie less lag, better games, etc. Of course, every GPU from vendors has its up and downs, but up to now the most recent GPU will be better, ie better looking games, nicer looking web sites that use graphics and also faster, etc. I could be wrong with my explanation, so anyone can jump in

You are correct sir, but we are aiming at what GPU the Shadow will have inside, as we already know that the OMAP 3630 with Cortex A8 (everyone seems to put this in) will be inside.

Yeah, I know. Just saying that we can't use that as an example to show that Moto can put whatever PowerVR chip that want in (though I would still think that they can).

Yup. The, GPU inside the Shadow will be the SGX530, which compared to the iPhone 3GS SGX535 is lower (14 MPolys/s vs 28 MPolys/s), unless of course if we can surprised
