Nothing new going on and more then likely won't be for some time yet. FYI the device is nowhere near close to being released or discussed in all honesty.

Nope, that would be incorrect. not saying they aren't working on a GSM version but there is in fact a version being worked on for CDMA.

Who knows maybe by the time of release we will get a nice surprise and it will be a world phone that is CDMA & GSM. We couldn't be so lucky now could we.

I cant say too much but in june/july there will a mind blowing moto unit out for vzw. and then sept/oct the droid 2 will be available.

OH, BUT YOU WILL SEE A UNIT THAT IS CAN TAKE PICS THAT ARE PRINT WORTHY.
imagine a moto phone that takes 8mp has auto foucus like droid and a open/close shutter lens.its a reality just need to wait a bit longer. im sure there is a few leaked pics that will surface soon.

If I were not watched heavly on everything i say or do then i would just post pics of it and full specs. but that would not be good for me.the penalty is extreme.
but on another hand I do comment and explain more when i see a leak to better help you guys. so as long as i dont leak it and only comment on it ,it keeps me in the green.

So with Bill throwing around whispers like this I think it's safe to say he was referring to this phone.... Can anyone else chime in?

Interesting. Although if I've read on Bill's comments correctly, the Motorola Shadow will not have a QWERTY keyboard, meaning the pic that is on that site is the wrong one (would be the Droid 2). The Shadow could well be the Nexus Two. The device that they show is probably the Droid 2, as Bill had commented on it. So Shadow is not the Droid 2 (Shadow = no keyboard, Droid 2 = keyboard).

Hmm, so I'm even more certain that the Shadow will have Froyo (2.2). If so, the I hope the Droid 2 will have it as well. I just hope the Droid 2 has the same specs as the Shadow (FM radio, 8MP cam, 1080p/HDMI output, etc..) that would be awesome

specs will be different of course. but very close.shadow is in use now and droid2 is still being built.

I cant wait til everyone gets to use LTE. lots of doors will open.and the battle will begin.

Bummer. I was expecting both the Shadow and Droid 2 to have same specs, except the with or without the keyboard . Awesome, so Shadow is closer to getting to my usage .

Btw, are you able to say something about the Droid2? I'm looking to get a really good QWERTY smartphone and the Droid2 (if the render pic is true) then that would be my next phone. Is there anything different from the two (besides the keyboard) in regards to specs/hardware? Thanks for the heads-up

I'm curious as to whether the Shadow will be a google experience phone (hopefully) or a MotoBlur phone. A FM receiver and transmitter would be nice too. I'd like to get rid of the wire I had to use for my mp3 player to the tape deck which doesn't like the cold much.

LTE may be a game changer just because it makes the phone have more legs than other phones. I dream of the day you could do data only plans and use VOIP on a cell phone (and not worry about latency and reliable data).

From the Droid on I've felt that all of these phones are powerful enough for me personally for awhile. The only improvements I would want would be in battery life. I just need a big, pretty screen which loads web pages fast enough that I don't feel like I'm waiting.
