Maybe a dumb question, but I'm just wondering so I know for My needs( high-end)
And yes I do agree that many are confusing a number of these phones up.

I believe the Shadow is supposed to be a high end
    4.1", 8mp, 720MHz phone
and if not it certainly sounds very high end so far...

Honestly, if a 4.1" screen and 8MP camera aren't considered "high-end" anymore, we should all be really happy with Verizon's smartphones lately.

That being sad, besides the larger screen, I see absolutely no reason for me to get the Shadow over the Inc (and Sense more than makes up for the screen difference - to me).

Does the ability to make crystal clear phone calls in areas where the Incredible shows 'no service' help? Typical Motorola reception is head and shoulders above typical HTC reception

I'd hope so considering how long Motorola has been in the radio business.

No. That's the XT800, which was released in China in the end of 2009/early 2010. The Shadow is a more rectangular phone. The XT800 has a 3.7" touchscreen and a 5MP camera. The Shadow will be a big improvement over this.

That's why I have Verizon instead of anyone else. Though it should be noted that according to what I've read, the dB levels on the Droid and Droid Incredible are pretty much the same.

I doubt that. Things are calibrated so wildly nowadays to skew people's perception of signal, I don't trust anything but longterm experience. For example, have you ever looked into the status of a Blackberry? They actually show you the -dB reading. They seem to show maximum reception around -7XdB and show minimum reception at -120dB. ANY phone should long be a paperweight at -120dB. My E815 shouldn't show -90dB while a Blackberry shows -120dB. I am not getting 1024 times the reception. That's impossible. But that's what my buddy's Tour showed vs. my phone. You can't even trust field test values anymore

The only thing that'll prove it nowadays is real-world testing in extended environments. I'll put my money on Moto.

I know these pictures have popped up in the thread before, but I looked back and I couldn't find any of the insiders denying their veracity. It seems to match up pretty nicely with all of the details that have been revealed here.

It happens more than I want it to but guess I'll be holding my upgrade. Btw does anyone else find themselves skimming through the entire thread looking for posts by bill or winston? Minus the chance of Blur, I'm getting psyched about this phone.

So, for anyone that has actually seen this phone.... a quick question.
With the Shadow being 4.1" will the screen be a little wider then? As nice as the current 3.7" screens are I do find them a little narrow. I would like a little more width.

Thanks Bill , now if we could just get someone to rotate that sucker around for a screen shot.

@JDJAZZ If they are going to maintain the 16:9 aspect ratio I think the screen will have to be about 0.2 inches wider and 0.4 inches longer.
