If I add $100 to my account, I won't have to add minutes for 1 year. Can I just add two $50 cards one after another in the automated system, and it will tell me that I do not need to add minutes for 1 year?
You're talking about adding $50 twice, which ISN'T the same thing as adding $100 once, which would guarantee you the bonus. Don't expect to win a technical battle with VZW.
If you really want the full year, pony up the $100. If you can't do that, just $75 gets you 180 days (six 30-day periods).
I want to play with the new T-Mobile MyTouch 4G.
The phone in those commercials seems pretty nice, too.

I'm going to add $100 at one time. I just wasn't sure the store I am purchasing from sells in a $100 denomination. I know they sell $50 cards, so I was just going to add one right after the other. The customer service rep said I could do it this way, so I'll call and have them add the two cards instead of going through the automated system. I'm hoping no problems arise.
I'm about to add minutes in a week or two and I will either go online to the VZ site inside my prepaid account to add $100 for one year or buy a $100 card. I wouldn't risk buying two $50 cards no matter what anybody and I mean anybody says. Find the $100 card in-stores, trust me it will save you alot of possible issues later.
BTW: I air on the side of caution, if VZ says a $100 card is good for one year, then they have to do it period. Its says nothing about two $50 cards, so i don't do it.
