Sprint Treo pro (850) on Pageplus (need help with data setup)
I recently got my treo pro working with pageplus with the following steps:
copy pageplus EDVO.prl file onto microflash memory card
put memory card into phone
press send enter ##775# (##prl#)
enter six digit unlock code that I got from sprint when I activated my phone
select update prl
select menu -> edit
browse for .prl located on memory card
voice and sms works however the web browser can not connect and *22890 will not program my phone
I have modified Power Vision settings found in connections in connections tab under settings from start menu as follows
number to be dialed: #777
username: (myphonenumber)@vzw3g.com
password: vzw
I did not specify a domain or any ip address and thinking this could be causing the trouble. I'd appreciate any help that could shine some light on this problem.
Update to getting over the air programming working
I did get *22890 to program the phone after doing the following steps:
download CDMA workshop
download qualcomm diagnositc drivers
connect phone to computer running xp via usb (vista may work)
press send ##3424# (##diag#) then directed xp to folder containing drivers
open CDMA workshop, selected com5, connect
went to security tab and typed in unlock code then clicked spc - read
typed in 000000 then clicked spc - write
pulled battery out of phone and put in back in
dialed *228 then dialed 1 to program phone and 2 to update prl
phone did both successfully when the spc or unlock code was changed to 000000 however I cannot pull up a webpage in internet explore via pageplus with the following settings:
number to be dialed: #777
username: (myphonenumber)@vzw3g.com
password: vzw
copy dcd Verizon Carrier 20081031.cab to phone and run it
send ##778# for EPST settings
