NET10 100 extra minutes with airtime card promo

Received this text message today from Net10:

"Great News! Get 100 extra minutes the next 3 times you add airtime..."

I don't know if this is a nationwide promotion or not.

I have been with Net10 for about 1-1/2 years. I upgraded phones (used same phone number) from an LG600g to a T401g about 30 days ago.

Did you receive the 300 minutes when you upgraded?

I got a similar offer, but not as generous.

Something like: "Add a refill of 450 minutes or greater and get 50 minutes free"

Yes, the 300 included bonus minutes for the new phone were added to the existing minutes on the old phone.

Did they give a Promo Code to use for the extra 100mn?

I have not received this message on either Net10 phone.
1-What size cards must you use?
2-How much time do they give you to add the three airtime cards?
3-Do they indicate everyone adding airtime will automatically receive the extra 100 minutes?
4-Are the 100 minutes free or just at a reduced price (their normal bonus offers for online purchased airtime)? I have seen them be deceptive in their wording.

This sounds like the old offer made upfront when one bought a new fone. Instead of 300 mins at activation you received 100 mins each time you added airtime for the first three times. I have a few of these handsets in original packaging stating this. But now when activated they get all 300 mins upfront.

Odd that the OP would get this offer in a text. I cannot wait to hear the rest of the story. Or at least the rest of the text.

Guess Net10 could care less about their long time customers? Other than to kill their phones?

I have had my t401g for about three months, on a number ported from TracFone, and didn't get any message at all. Have to check my wife's EM326g tonight.

300 bonus minutes total with next 3 cards

I boought the T401G a couple of months ago (after the LG600G). Got an email for 100 free bonus minutes with the next 3 cards that I buy (300 minutes total). I'm on my 2nd card and have gotten 200 free minutes total. I bought 2 of the LG600G reconditioned bundles on their website, used codes, and paid $23 for each phone (with the 300 free minutes) and a free 300 minute card. (Had to order separately.) I'm using the cards for adding minutes to the T401G. Also had to call them so the free minutes could be added. Had absolutely no problems except for really listening so that I could understand them. This offer was specific to my serial number.

I received a 100 free minute with a 300 card text a few months ago. The phone has been activated for about two years now. Funny thing -- the phone had 2000+ minutes on it when the offer was made. I am also on an automatic monthly renewal plan and have been for well over a year.
