I have the same problem! :/ I'm using a Docomo phone in California USA and was wondering how can put music so the phone will actually read the music files in music player. I can get the songs to play in i-Motion>Micro SD>Multimidea, but I want the music player so i have more features! I have tried every file created by the phone inside the Micro SD card and I can't get the Music Player to read my songs! I have converted them to 3gp/mp4/wma and changed the file names and STILL nothing! Help anybody??

if im not mistaken that model should play mp3 files without any problem, if not then consult the docomo user guide.
We lose as much as we gain through life, and that includes who we used to be.

In phone -> menu -> lifekit -> microSD -> My picture -> press function -> I get 3 options 1. microSD info 2. Format 3. Update management info -> I press 3. but it's still not displaying the pics I put on the card, maybe that's not it?
because you are probably placing the files in the wrong folder and have the wrong naming format, are you sure you did read the guide?? i can't copy paste what says on the guide but udner Music%Video Channel on the PDF click the + sign and click on "transfer music data" then look for"Directly copying data into the FOMA terminal"

This was posted somewhere else on the forum. Use this utility to help you format your sdcard based on your model (whether it is nec, sharp, panasonic etc.) and then when you drag stuff into this utility window, it will put them in the right places.

EDIT: Ok, looks like I was mistaken. This doesn't transfer music files. But would be useful in creating the files required when transferring ringtones, images, videos etc.

To copy music you need to create those folder on your SDcard. PRIVATE/<Model type>/MUSIC and then paste them into that file.

An example like in my case: PRIVATE/CASIO/MUSIC.
