    Jabra BT2010 and PS3

So before I had a old Jaara 250v and that packed up on me and I just bought a Jabra BT2010. I connected it and everything and it says on the PS3 that its connected but as you know when you speak you get the little speaker icon next to your name, well thats not the case for me. Nothing. Anybody know whats happening here?

    Thanks in advance.

There is a button to start/end calls on your headset. See if that turns it on. Otherwise, I have no idea.

What? Its already turned on and the Ps3 says its connected but it simply doesn't work then. I cannot hear anyone through it nor speak through it.

Wirelessly posted ( Samsung Omnia: Opera/9.5 (Microsoft Windows; Windows CE; Opera Mobi/9.5; U; en) VZW:SCH-i910 PPC 240x400)

what profile does the PS use? it might not be supported by the 2010. the basic profiles are hsp(headset profile) and hfp(hands free profile) but Im not sure what your PS uses and if the 2010 has it
you could also try unpairing it and pair(not just connect but like the initial setup) it again if the proper profiles are supported.

same problem with my blueant v1

here's what i have to do.

    1. turn on my headset
    2. click the playstation button
    3. navigate to settings tab
    4. scroll down to "accessory settings" and select
    5. scroll to "audio device settings' and select
    6. you'll notice the input/output device has your bluetooth selected
    7. select "input device" and change to do not use
    8. exit "audio device settings"
    9. select "audio device settings" again
    10. select "input device" and change back to your bluetooth
    11. confirm and exit cross media bar

note: you may have to repeat steps 8-11 one more time. this fixed my issues with my headset. can't explain how this works or why, but my guess is it sort of resets the headset/ps3 to detect connection
