You referenced your Post to post # 31, I read it twice to make sure I didn't miss anything and I didn't say anything about a charge of $10 unlimites SMS to be Dropped, you might want to read it again.
it said any plans above $35 after Feb-9 will have unlimited SMS worldwide from Canada and Currently its only within Canada and it also said as of Feb 9 2010 you will loose any hour of calling in morning, it will change from 8am to 7am. No where in the post it said anything about $10

yey Unlimited International SMS.. Who do I have overseas? just some families which also can not receive International SMS from overseas (the local operator has blocked incoming international SMSes)

useless for me..
You're sarcasm amuses me. Fido has zero control over a foreign carrier that does not except incoming international texts. My family lives in England (no problems accepting international texts there) so I'm glad that Fido are offering this option.
On another point, is there any chance that Fido will be getting a half decent Android device?

I am also confused and need some clarification. I just signed a couple of days ago a new 2 year agreement with my old CityFido and received the 2500 text messages. Will this unlimited sms to us and international be retroactive to all plans including the one I just signed? Or will I have to call after the 9th and try to talk them into giving me this feature?

Clearly, if you want to take advantage of an intl/US text messages inclusive plan, you must change to one of the new plans which are $35 or more.
Old plans = OLD rules. New plans above $35 = INTL/US text messages included.
On my second time reading it through makes sense and I would not be eligible. Got excited and read what I wanted it to say.
"Customers who choose to remain on current plans will retain current rules (7am-8pm) (Canadian SMS only). Customers who choose to switch to revised" - pretty clear the second time around
Other than the BB8250, nothing really worth getting. I'm with Fido for more or less 8 years and I'm really thinking to go to Rogers just becos the phones are better......
