New Lowered No Contract Price on the Palm Pre

I was looking at getting a Palm Pre and it seems the prices are lower on their website than what the Reps I called had on their screens. It was regarding the no contract price of $349.95. His screen said the price was $599.95 and he couldn't confirm the new lower price.

    No Contract - $349.95
    1 Year - 199.95
    2 Years - 99.95
    3 Years - 0

Best Buy has dropped their price as well, same with the Blackberry Storm.

I'm surprised you can get it for only $99.99 with a two year contract OR $199.99 for a one year. Very good phone for that price!

I believe Best Buy (not sure about Future Shop), have the Pre at $0 with a 3 year.

I tested one out in Future Shop yesterday, and wasn't impressed. The OS was very slow and they keyboard was cramped.

Looked for a Storm to buy cheap, but couldn't find one. Might just look for a used Bold..

My wife's on Bell and has a full upgrade credit.. she's got an LG Reveal right now which she really likes, but is tempted to get a smartphone. I was looking at the Samsung Galaxy for her.. but now that the Pre is $0, that's pretty tempting too.

The Pre is a nice phone, but is webOS going anywhere?

Looks like it was a price error. The phone is now back to $599.95 no contract. Price remains the same on a 2 years ($99.95) and 3 years ($0). Hopefully for anyone who ordered it for $349.95 get it for that price.

Best Buy still has it for $349.99 - so you have some time if you're thinking at getting it for $350 no contract.
