yeah I could almost wait for the Motoroi but mid-March is my limit. I know it's rumored for AT&T but I'm guessing it'll do a T-Mobile launch first or something stupid

If Milestone came out in December, I definitely would've bought one to replace my old Diamond... However, now that MWC is drawing near, I'll probably be too enticed by all those new phones and introduction of WinMo7 to get the Milestone.

What's taking them so long? It's been 3 months since the Droid came out...

Very true, but nothing is coming out in the next few months that "blows" this phone out of the water. The X10 is coming but Sony added way to much to the os and the device is to large for my liking. Nexus so far wont be on our 3g, and the other devices are set for Q2 all the way thru Q3 for Win 7 devices. So I hope my Milestone launches in the next few weeks and I will be a happy camper .

My guess: the phone will be release before the Vancouver OG 12febv. So at the maximum this going to be in a week and a half. 2nd or 9th, look good.

They will have to remove the iPhone gift 'soon' on their home page.

you may be right, Mobilesyrup says that the Best Buy promotional material is ready - it would make sense that they would launch in time for the OG

Just saw the Mobile Syrup article! Looks like we will be getting the phone any time soon now! I just hope it will allow for unlock codes, the South America verison does not and hope telus doesn't request that to be added.

Apparently $199 for 3-year and $549 no contract.

    Pretty good!

This would kill me. That had better not happen

I would fall in love with a 549 price tag. I was budgeting for 599.

If you buy without a contract does that mean it's unlocked?

$549!! Right on target. I was guessing anywhere from $499 - $599 so this is going to be a day one purchase indeed! Here's hoping for Feb. 12 .

    Edit: @Kyonn

No it doesnt, we should be able to buy an unlock code from ebay or other sites and then use it on another carrier.

$199 for a 3 yr contract isn't too bad I guess...neither is the $549 for no contract. Now to figure out what to do. I am assuming it'll be $500 for a 1 yr, and $450 for a 2 year.

I think probably we'll see it in 2 weeks minimum...maybe as long as 3, but hoping 2. If it's all set in the Telus sales systems, perhaps we'll know for sure this week.

I don't think they will, have they done that in the past before with previous phones?

They certainly didn't do so with the Hero. =).
