    guys, im sorry... but cut kitty a little break. they are just trying to pass on the information they have heard. it may or may not be 100% true or completely accurate, but they are just trying to pass on what they know and then make that as clear as possible.

    i hate seeing someone get badgered or accused for just trying to be friendly and help people out.

    based on that last post kitty, it looks as if not a lot is changing. the only major change is that they (may) in the near future be able to block or check esn's to prevent activation on the network. he made it very clear there would be no retroactive blocking / canceling, and if you activate on impulse, its already used

    fears should now be calmed. onto the next unlimited data is coming thread now.

    It might be time to get off your a$$ and call PP yourself. Kitty is just relaying info that she received from PP. Right now, she is our only source to this problem. Just stop bashing everything she says. She left a number and an extension to call Dan Pohlman. If you want to find out more, call him. And dealer-only info is dealer-only info! She was nice enough to let us know that she knows something about this. Maybe you should become a dealer and let us know what going on!

    Kitty, you're doing a great job! Keep up the good work and let us know anything you find out!

    And coming in here telling us that "Dan Pohlman said this and that" without telling us who he is...and now he's in tier one support? Wow. Yeah, that's an authoritative source--not.

    So far, no one who has any authority to speak for PagePlus has spoken. And the random stories keep getting more and more random, keep changing as time goes on.

    Adam, I'm not attacking you or defending Kitty.. I want to merely add this:

    Kitty Wireless provided a means for anyone that reads this thread to call and/or verify his statements.

    I'm going to peruse the document he provide in the dealer section and if appropriate, I may also include a few Quotes from the aforementioned document for the public.

    Kitty Wireless is exercising discretion, which is appreciated. There are rules in the Dealer Forum that prohibit divulging certain information and Kitty Wireless is merely obeying the rules.

    I'll politely remind everyone partaking in this discussion to be mindful of your posts so as not to attack, harass, or insult one another. So far everyone's expressed their views/opinions professionally without getting personal. If someone's opinion differs from your own, we welcome discussion, but please be mindful of HoFo policy regarding attacking/insulting...

    As a dealer myself, I cannot confirm or deny the statements made by Kitty Wireless yet. I have never received the email that some other dealers were discussing last week, and never received the memo that was posted in here either. Just because I have not received any of these communications from P+ doesn't mean that others haven't. I do know some dealers have and that portion I can confirm (that some dealers have received the memo)... beyond what I've stated, I make no further comments or assertions.

    As I noted, when Kitty Wireless posts the document mentioned, I'll review it and post a few quotes as appropriate.

    The facts are the facts. I have presented the information, official from PPC, along with a copy of the official document that SO MANY DEALERS never received. I have provided a name, a phone number.

    To answer the question,

    Dan Pohlman is supposely a big wig at pageplus or at least a top customer service person. Read that in another post.

    Kitty wireless cleared up most of things.

    From reading it sounds like it is a pageplus policy not a verizon policy.

    I assume you can still activate new prepaid phones on mingo or airvoice cdma. If it is a verizon policy, it just restricted to pageplus because of their unlimited plan & T&T plan and it makes sense now why mingo does not want to go that route.

    Remember, this started with a "confirmed to be the facts" posting about how everyone's InPulse phone was going to be turned off, and Kitty was telling everyone about the ONLY way to get a phone was to go used or full price--completely ignoring PagePlus's own phones.

    And now the "confirmed to be the facts" story has changed several times.

    My entire point is, none of this is useful. Period. Until and unless we hear from PagePlus through their normal channels for distributing information to their customers, this is nothing but noise.

    And that's a problem.

    Thank you for posting this information. While it is difficult to get complete information at any time, certainly from Page Plus, it is important to hear what is happening.

    There are always those who will attack because they don't want something to be true. Even if details change, this is certainly important information, and I, for one, really appreciate your postings.

    Remember, there are really no "normal channels" for PP information distribution.

    So the people who don't think it's true, don't listen to it. No one is putting a gun to your head and making you believe what Kitty says.

    Me, I believe it. I have an env3, moto w755 (postpaid), and a lg vx8350 on the way to replace the inpulse phone I have in my house.
