The RAZR V3c, V3m, and V3a, all have the earpiece connected to the LCD module. Is it the same for the V3?

After replacing the lcd on my razr v3, now the ear speaker does not work (not the speakerphone). I have bought and installed a new OEM flex cable with speaker, to no avail. I checked the volume and it is fine. This speaker was working fine when this lcd was in another phone. The speakerphone works fine. What simple detail am I overlooking now?
Thanks.

BTW, I am sure this is irrelevant, but I never had to replace the charging port (another post) as I discovered the charger was bad not the port.
Are you indicating the earpiece is part of the LCD module?

Bump since I am still struggling with this. Any advice? Thanks!!!
Unfortunately, I'm not able to assist any further. I've never actually taken the V3 apart, and unfortunately, with my experience as a technician, the replacement won't be easy.
Thanks for all your time and posts anyway. It is great that you help when you can, and try so hard!Originally Posted by UrbanBounca
