    Blackberry SiriusXM on rogers 3G

The new Sirius app for blackberry came out today and i can't get it to work over data. I can log in, it will download the channels but says data connection lost when i try to play a channel. When i disable data and turn on wifi, the application works pefect. any idea if rogers is stopping this application from working? could it be something i'm doing wrong?

I am having the exact same issue with my 9700, I have been playing with it for awhile and can't get it to work over the network data. It works fine when connected to wifi.

May I ask how you were able to log into the app? I'm using a 9700. Downloaded the app today and signed up for the XM online + for $2.99 month. When I try to login, I get invaild userid. Spoke with XM Canada and they tell me its for Americans only.

Know of a way around this for me?

You need to purchase a XM or Sirius US subscription. Need and US postal code.

Just semantics but Americans use zip codes.

I have had a US Sirius account for about 5 yrs now, I purchased a lifetime account and it was very easy to do. I am actually using a hotel address in Las Vegas as my address, and the charges for the premium account ($3/ month or something like that) are automatically charge monthly to my CC. Since I have done this I have several friends who have done the same thing.

    ok, so my question is.
i signed up for the 7 day trial using an US zip but when i try to listen to a channel, be it bpm, hiphop nation or playboy (hehe) a loading bar appears and just stays or it comes up with a data connection error.

    anyone else experiencing this problem?

Ya I know that. But if you provide an US zipcode you can sign up.
Now even if its a Free Trial do I still need to sign up for a Premium Service, which doesnt sound free to me.

So i spoke to bb tech support at rogers and the they were no help. they advised me to call bb, so i did. i was told that i had to pay for tech support, i obviously declined. On saturday i was in buffalo roaming on AT&t, i figured not being on rogers 3g it would work on at&T 3g... well i was wrong. Same problem with player error. i feel its something with bb blocking data access. Anyone try anything else?
