Not that I'm aware of. I believe it's just $0.10/min per call, but from what I hear they do charge $0.35 a day for data access, even if you don't use it.
If so, yes, they charge 35 cents per day for data access.
that's now an option you can choose not to have...if you choose not to add that option it wont take the .35 cents a day.....if you deposit $20 into your account it will stay $20 for the entire 3 months no fee but you wont be able to access the web at all
.....thats how i got my i9 set up ...i gave the phone to my girl an she only uses the phone to talk an txt ....plus the the features that came with the phone camera, music player,etc,etc.....

Really?? Then i'm switching to boost mobile. Thank you mr.slicktalk.
iDen is the only $1/day Boost. I love that plan for the weekends. Also, data still works without the .35/day charge, just not the built-in browser. They do this so that other apps that use data will work. I have a satellite tracking app always running on my iDen phone (instamapper).
I think data is all messed up on CDMA Boost. I have turned data on and off and it seems to make no difference. The built-in browser on the Incognito works either way. Not sure about any other Boost CDMA phones, and it will have no effect on non-boost CDMA phones.
I want Boost to get their data act together before everyone abuses it and it gets cut off.
So what shawnlg is saying is that you can tether even with the .35 a day turned off? That's a loophole big enough for an ice cream truck.
I'm happy paying my 0.35 when I use it, but that happens to be only once a week. Has anyone tried turning it on and off only on the days that you're about to use it?
Also when you say built in browser, are you referring to the phone's default browser? e.g. on my mogul it's IE. Will this work with data turned on or off?
