Activating Samsung Vice Prepaid on Regular Bell Plan

Please advise what is the easiest way to activate a prepaid new phone to my regular Bell plan. I presently have two plans 1 - Regular - no contract and 2 a Prepaid plan.

CSR at Bell and some employees at Bestbuy or Future shop will tell you it cannot be done. However I believe it is posible. Why buy a non contract Samsung Vice for $250 while I can get the new Vice 3G for $90.

Please take me trough the steps. I have recently gone trough the activ. of the prepaid plan and activ a prepaid phone to my buddys existing prepaid and this worked just fine, but I dont want to unpackage the new phone without getting some genral idea that it can be done.

    Thanks

    (sorry for the long question)

Activite a new prepaid number yourself on bell.ca once its fully activated do an esn swap of the new activated pre-paid to a different esn which will free up the esn of the newly activated pre-paid then just log into your regular account & do a swap..

Just for info when you activte the prepaid it comes with $50 credit you can use that to donate it http://mobilegiving.ca/?page_id=44

Buy the prepaid bell phone go to my bell on the web site, go to upgrade phone. type in the ESN of the new prepaid phone. Activate the new prepaid phone onto your existing plan. I did this a month ago , bought a prepaid mOTO hint for 40 bucks at Future Shop, then did the above process. Works great! Why pay the no-contract price for a phone when all you need is the ESN! This isn't common knowledge by the general population.

Thanks for the advise. I knew it could be done exactly as you have indicated.I allready tried the one I opened for my pre-paid plan and i got as far as final OK before cancelling so I know it works.

When you stated activate , did ypu mean directly to my Bell plan or first to my prepaid plan as the other replyer stated. That senario I cannot understand yet.

    Much appreciated.

Read my post #2, I was pretty clear, as you are asking the same question again.

when you put the ESN from the prepaid successfully on your plan, you have to activate it which puts your bedll # on the phone so it becomes usable. to do this either do it online, you will have to find a code to punch in the phone which should be provided. I had to search for the code on bells web site. or call bell and get them to do it, although it might cost you some money.
