    Uhm, maybe try another online dealer. Paying $10 for an activation through www.pagepluscellular.com seems a bit... steep?

    Im having the same issue trying to port over from Boost. Device Rejected error. beauhcrain, if you could, i would like to pm you my esn to see if it can be done.

    That issue was when i was trying to port a number, i just tried to do it with a new activation and was given the device rejected **** again. they prolly even charged me $10

    DEVICE_REJECTED on Verizon Motorola Q9m

    I too am getting DEVICE_REJECTED. This on a Verizon Motorola Q9m. I had previously used this via my employer's Verizon Contract. The phone was removed from the contract a couple of months ago.

    Everything I read here says this device should work fine with PagePlus without modification.

    I called PagePlus and the representative tried to active there; no success. She said the ESN was "Unknown", but was otherwise clean.

    Any suggestions?

    I think their site is having issues. I have had errors for the last few days, but eventually activations go through.

    I subsequently called Verizon and they confirm that the ESN is clean and no longer associated with Verizon in any way.

    I believe the "DEVICE_REJECTED" error has to do with processing the payment rather than processing the activation. I'm not 100% sure though.

    Trevor, I don't think its the case here. There are occasions it has to do with the actual device and not payment. During activation, there shouldn't be an issue with payment as no payment or funds are being processed from the user's end. However, since the user is attempting to activate with a $10 payment to Page Plus, this could be what is happening.

    Could always check elsewhere for a free activation and see if that solves the problem.

    Tried a number of times on the PagePlus website without success.

    Then tried the FREE activation at http://www.keithwireless.com

    That worked perfectly. Keith provided the number to call for automatic phone programming.

    I added the phone to my account at PagePlus, and within minutes I was using voice, text, internet and email on my Motorola Q9m.

    Couldn't be easier.

    Thanks for the suggestion to look for other activators.
