Probably first indication of that was the lowering of the price for the HTC Hero. It's now only $49.

I hope that means Milestone and/or desire are hitting... probably will be the htc bee and one of the dumbphones...ugh

I guess I'm just going to wait for the Desire to hit, or just keep my Tour. I can't maintain an Alltel account and a Verizon account. It's just too costly. lol

So, Fascinate going back in a few days unfortunately. I'll wait for the Desire and maybe I'll like it.

Just to add to the confusion... The Milestone is not on the map for AT&T markets and I can't confirm the status of either Blackberry.

Yeah, I kinda wondered why a (locally) defunct company would be coming out with so many new phones. Now I know: they aren't. My contract's 1 year $20 buyout hits in February. I was hoping to be able to get a new Android phone, but it looks like the Hero will be the only one available here. When Verizon takes over in m area, do they offer discounted phones to their "new" customers? Do they have a $20 buyout of the 2nd year of my contract (like Alltel does)?

They have what they consider a discounted phone...lol...just looked last night and the incredible or moto x is 200 bucks with the discount....plus there plans are a lot higher for less stuff. I am sticking with Alltel/ATN as long as I can and hope they get the service fixed sooner then later. They are already cutting my 200 plus bill in half each month so I will give them some time. It has to get better, they would not have bought it if they did not think they could make a go of it.
