This message is to protect you from getting screwed by this seller.
Most of you guys here must be japanese cellphone lovers to talk and discuss on this forum section. If you plan to buy a japanese cellphone, DON'T BUY IT FROM KYOTO-EXPORT. He is a power seller on ebay. He sells a lot of japanese cellphones and product. I made a purchase from him about 2 months ago, it took 4 weeks to received the product and I paid 35us$ for the shipping which is supposed to be express. The phone arrived and never worked. Actually 6 buttons are not working at all, I cannot even dial 911 !!!
I contacted him to get it fixed or exchanged, never asked for a refund or anything like that. He never replied. I sent him messages everyday almost trying to see why he is not responding. He is playing games with me, I know it because there are still activities on his ebay account. He is just ignoring mee to save up his money like a burglar.
I cannot do anything now because ebay do not accept to open dispute cases after the 45 days period of purchase which is very unfair for me because I got the cellphone 28 days after I paid, which means I lost 2/3 of my time because of his slow shipping. Then when I got it, I was in India for a travel so I couldn't try the phone anyways and didn't know it was not working well. Now I lost 370$ for the phone plus another 100 for the Hypersim I bought for that from another seller.
Just follow my advice and don't buy from him. He will definitly screw you up.
Some other buyers e-mailed me about the same situation they have been put into by this thief.
I was tempted at one point to order from him as well because his phones are pretty cheap. Lucky I didn't. So thanks for the warning!!!
that sucks, i feel sorry for you mate. i almost decided to buy from him, but since he does not deal in hypersim i changed my mind. maybe if many of us on this forum send him an email through our ebay id he might listen to your complaint?
That sucks *** through a straw man, i'v see his ebay store before and was tempted a few times to buy but never did, lucky me.
You can play a few games with him, create a fake account, win the auction and don't pay. If he message you, just say that you don't have the money right now and see what he says.
if you're doing that run a proxy too while you're at it. And then it would be really big mind games. I would just run proxies and bid on a handful of his stuff and don't pay![]()

Call Paypal and file a dispute.

That's true too. I know some people will send an e-check. And those will sometimes take up to 1.5 weeks to clear into accounts.
Out of curiosity I emailed him about one of his phones and this is what he said

I know most of my customer use HYPERSIMs to unlock Japanese docomo phones to be used in the USA, but I have no first hand experience, so I cannot guarentee anything
Im sorry but I just sell the hardware, not the service
I have sold this particular item over 200 times around the world, and never had anyone complain about my item, so there must be some people out there who know how to use the phone for their cell service
But once again, please be 100% sure before you purchase from me, as I do not give refunds/returns

I've sold hypersims all over the world. No complaints since I'm always there to solve the problem with customers. Most the time they didn't CPR so it wouldn't have worked in the beginning. haha fail. **laffs**Originally Posted by letterstonoel
