Hard to believe the RAZR is like 6 years old now. It was like $500 when it first came out. EVERYONE wanted one. Now, the phone is worth about $80-$100 new, and Who here had the RAZR? Did you like it? Did you hate it? Do you still use yours?
For me, I thought the RAZR was the coolest phone when it came out. I got one back in 2008 with AT&T GoPhone service, and I used it for about a year. It was kinda pricey for me though (the minutes) so I gave it up (well, gave it to my mom lol) and went back to Tracfone (I originally had Tracfone before, but I really wanted a RAZR, so I went to At&t).
Now I'm gonna be getting Straight Talk and I'm gonna get the RAZR V3A. I'm looking forward to having a RAZR again.
I'm a long time RAZR fan; I have owned many! I just got a new V3a today; $80 at Wal-Mart. I had ST already so it's perfect! I've had an original, and best V3, 2 X V3re, and 2 X V9m. I've had many other phones of all types and after all the bells and whistles of fancy touch screens and slide qwertys, I'm back to the roots; a good old trusty RAZR! I love it. Going looking for modding info now!
I have a v9m and and will not part with it. I have had the other tough screen phones and keyboard phones but I have to say for comfort of use the Razr is the best by far!

The RAZR was $350 new, and the V3a doesn't even compare to the V3c/m. Unfortunately, I think the V3a is the poorest quality RAZR that Motorola has manufactured.
i have a v3xx that still works flawlessly. one of the very best phones i ever owned and used. could do almost anything with that phone and a memory card. super easy to use and navigate, let alone cram lots of pics, vids, and ringtones on it with a 2gb card.
I had the V3 with GPRS. It worked as a phone but sucked for any data use. I eventually moved onto smartphones. The thing that puzzled me is that the phone died because it kept on saying "Insert SiM" and I didn't find out about this after I sold it. I don't remember abusing it but somehow the RAZR refused to recognized the buyers SIM and the only thing I did was unlock it.
Yea, I'll agree it's a cheapo but it's still a RAZR. I like it, the only thing I wish it had was a memory card slot. Oh well, Good luck with yours if u get one fan!

Not only does it not have an MMC slot, but it doesn't have much internal memory, nor does it even have EvDO capabilities.
Yeah I agree with the v3a being a step back in terms of the Razer. I started with a v3c, which was an awesome phone but lacked an MMC slot. Then along came the v3m, which had an MMC slot. I however chose to skip the v3a because it was basically a cheaper version of the v3c. It lacked both an MMC slot and EVDO (the v3c at least had EVDO). It also had a smaller phone book capacity than the v3c and V3m (500 vs 1000). Also I can't remember for sure but I think the camera was even lower quality than both the v3c and v3m.
