Would love to have a V9 for my non-smartphone use. If I could find a silver one in good shape for inexpensive, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat.

The V13. I think it's sold in Korea only (so far)

My statements and opinions do not reflect those of my employer, AT&T Mobility. This is disclosed per FTC regulation.
Hell I think I'd switch to a black v9 right now and trade in my bold. However I prefer the old style much better. If only the original silver v3/v3i wasn't so sluggish and could keep up with me while texting.
Once you go black you never go back.
I like the RAZR2, but I still think the original RAZR looks best.![]()
oh my god. you people probably have no idea, but back in 2006, the motorola razr modding scene was huge! tons of custom firmwares, skins, ringtones, hacks, it was unbelieveable. I wonder where everyone went. I remember spending weeks hacking my v3 and v3t with custom stuff. I remember modifying hex files and flashing the phone using RSD Lite...and P2K tools to do some basic mods and file transfers. this probably makes no sense to you guys lol. I remember when the V6 Maxx came out there was this one guy trying to get it to work on the 850 mhz cingular signal and he spent months on it! i wonder if he succeeded...wow all those memories...the idea of custom things on your phone was present in motorolas before the iphones and jailbreaking ever existed.

Oh I remember, I still have the ring lights installed on my blue v3![]()
:-) I will never forget the evil White screen of death. I bricked 2 razr's. I loved the gain table mods, adding video capture, changing operator logo to what ever i wanted and of course changing the picture on the outer lcd. Just a few months i purchased a 4 brand new att branded, unlocked v3xx as backups when needed. If someone would like to purchase 1 let me know.
I just bought my mom two "new" original black RAZR's on eBay from a pretty trusted source.
$19.99 each but also $19.99 for shipping. Still, not bad and it's the only phone my mom will use. She's loved it ever since she had the first one in 2004.
What is the max amount of memory on a memory card you can put in the RAZR V3m on Verizon?
LOL I preferred my KRZR on VZW, but I did own 3 RAZR's (wife's cherry blossom and my black one, on TMo and a silver one on VZW) and I will attest that they were some of the most durable phones I ever owned.
Now rockin' a Droid and it is nice to see that Motorola has regained their touch.
I had a CDMA Razr on VirginMobile Canada; I picked up a GSM Razr in the UK (unlocked) for 130 pounds and used it on a business trip instead of roaming: the phone paid for itself in savings of roaming fees.
I have left CDMA behind and used my GSM Razr until I got my BlackBerry Bold 9000 (which I love!) but the only problem I have with my GSM Razr is that it stinks. Literally. It has an odour: of course, you hold the thing right up to your face, so the odour is noticeable. I don't THINK I ever packed it with raw meat or anything... it's not a rotten-food smell... it's something like body odour and phenols (plastic odour) it's bizarre... I used it as a charger for a second battery for my CDMA RAZR while I was with Virgin (swap out batteries instead of always plugging in the phone to charge it) and it acquired that smell during that time. No idea what it is or where it came from.
I tried tinkering with the phone, but (I blame the carrier of course, not the phone) the damn thing was so crippled in terms of customizations (and that Virgin Mobile start up sound, EXTREMELY loud with NO volume control and NO WAY TO GET IT TO STOP was inexcusable) that even though I'm a tinkerer, after trying to make looping ringtones that wouldn't quite loop properly etc. I just gave up and decided not to bother.
(Call me a motorola fanboy, but the RAZR is just one in a long line of "Iconic" Motorola cell phones: if you think of the cell phones that everyone knows about, many of them are Motorola: the Brick, the trapezoidal flip, then the startac then the razr... hopefully they are not done making iconic phones... there have been others from other vendors, like the LG Chocolate, the iPhone, but for me, when I think of the 30 years of cell phone technology, the individual devices that stand out are mostly Motorola devices... and I have my Milestone on order!)
Will always be one of my all time favorite phones. I loved the other models of it as well, the V3i, V3x, and V8 and V9. I'm thinking of buying another V9x just to satisfy my Razr needs.
Just ordered a V3m for myself, since I am switching to Verizon. Can't wait til I get it!![]()
This thread is making me nostalgic for my old V3 razr black (and even my old v60 lol)..I always wanted a v3i also
