Announced new towers.

They could have put up dozens. I wouldn't be surprised if Wind and others actually did put up a dozen new locations in expansion zones.

All new carriers are trying to keep expansion plans quiet so their competition cannot watch them as easily. That means not announcing them any more than absolutely necessary.

I'm not sure where you get "2 towers" from. They mention a new "site" in Ottawa, and improvements in several areas in the GTA, and upcoming improvements in Calgary and the GTA.

WIND merged their separate Home/Away KML files of coverage into one file, which is quite annoying when all I want to display is the true WIND coverage.

I know of atleast one new tower near Kipling subway station. Now gets reception underground.

What i meant was on the station, below the level where buses depart from. Earlier i would get 0 bars, but was getting 4 bars the other day.

They're not standing still. At least from my perspective.
I commute regularly from the downtown core to richmond hill, and I often listen to internet radio on the way.
Before, there were some dead/weak signal areas where the music would fade momentarily and buffer, in some areas along the DVP, but in the past two months I've noticed improvements, because I can listen to music uninterrupted the entire trip.

I don't know for a fact. But I think their focus recently has been on filling in the "Swiss cheese" network, rather than home zone expansion.

In Calgary: ones in McKenzie Towne, ones in Beddington and there's another at Stoney Trail NE @ Country Hills Blvd.
