Add another phone to my plan & share minutes?

Is it possible for me to go out and get another phone, then add it onto my account so that it can share in my minutes, text messages, etc?

I just called up Rogers and asked them about it, and the guy said it'd be a $15/month thing.. so I guess that's a no go.

I really just need a phone with service, it'll never answer or make any calls, but even if I were to get a pay as you go, it'd be $10/month for Fido (since the cards expire after 30 days and $10 is the minimum amount). Although apparently Virgin Mobile cards have a $15 minimum but the balance only expires after 4 months, so that'd be like $3.75/month.
